Senior
reviewer Shelley Glodowski of The Midwest Book Review posted a five
star review of The
Gift Horse on Amazon.com. She states, "Not only
is Pamela Dodd an accomplished writer, but her imagination knows no
bounds. This is a highly original plot with social commentary on the
rights of young women in our society. ... Ms. Dodd's writing skills
are impressive!"

The September/October
issue of Living Jackson magazine includes a review for Trinity
on Tylos. Reviewer Malcolm Campbell states " In her
very readable novel, Dodd gives us a strong female protagonist whose
journey to the forbidding planet of Tylos is more than a trip through
space. It’s also an inner journey, one in which Venice will learn
if she has what it takes to be more than a mere survivor."
Thanks to Malcolm
and Roxane Rose, publisher of Living Jackson.

Pam's
Pages, her web log, covers far more than publishing
and science fiction, and is now in the third year. Very little happens
which doesn't inspire Pam to write something, so readers will find comments
on books in various genres along with other happenings in her life.
In 2007, as part
of her ongoing promotions for her science fiction novel, Trinity
on Tylos, Pamela co-hosted a panel with Christina Barber
on "How to Torment Your Characters" at SciFi
Summer Con in Atlanta.

Jackson Magazine
published a special holiday issue with a great article featuring
local authors. Anyone out there remember Studebakers? Anyone remember
that they made pickup trucks? In addition to "A
Truckload of Authors" the issue has information on local restaurants,
libraries, and a cover story profiling a local resident with a Christmas
tree in every room of her house.
Pam continues to
update the Books page to include review
quotes with links to the full reviews.
